Internal Illness/General Conditions

 

My name is Susan, and my husband Bob has been a patient of Dr. Jitao Bai for the past five months. Her treatment has virtually given him back his life and I will be eternally grateful. I am writing this testimonial to help convince any new patients who may be uncertain about alternative medicine to overcome their doubts and go for it.

 

Before we met Dr. Bai, I had just about given up hope for my husband. He had been ill for two years and I had watched him age before my eyes as he went from a tall, strong, active and attractive man to almost an invalid within a few month's time. He had absolutely no strength, no energy, no appetite, was losing weight rapidly, his eyes were fluorescent yellow and his skin was the color of a zombie. He also had a maddening itch all over his body, yet modern medicine could do nothing to help him.

 

Even with Bob's extreme symptoms, it took many months, several different doctors, thousands of dollars and countless tests (including 28 different blood tests, a CAT scan, an ultrasound, a liver biopsy, and an ERCP) to get a diagnosis, cirrhosis of the liver and a blocked bile duct. We were stunned at the diagnosis, since Bob had not had an alcoholic drink in over thirty years, and we were devastated when the doctors told us that our only option was a liver transplant! But even if we were lucky enough to get a liver, the lifestyle they were offering us was very bleak. Bob would become a diabetic for the rest of his life, he would have to give himself insulin twice a day, and he would have to take steroids to insure that his body would not reject the new liver.

 

After hearing all this, and more, we were almost positive he would decline getting a liver transplant, and that Bob's life was nearly over, so we resolved ourselves to spending as much quality time with each other as possible, and I was there to try to make him as comfortable as he could be. By now Bob was losing even more weight, and was lucky if he had ten minutes worth of energy a day. He was in constant pain and discomfort from the enlarged liver and spleen, and the constant itching was making it almost impossible for him to rest. We made up a living will and got all of our affairs in order. We thought he only had a few more months to live.

 

And then the beginning of our miracle happened. A friend of mine from our church called to tell me about Dr. Bai. Her husband had been a patient of Dr. Bai's and they were impressed with how much she had helped him. I begged Bob to go see her, even if it was for only one time, and he reluctantly agreed. When we first saw Dr. Bai, she was exactly the warm, loving, caring, kind, understanding person that my friend had described. On that visit and each one since, she has been very personal and wonderful.

 

On that first visit, Dr. Bai was able to tell us that Bob had an enlarged liver and spleen, and also that his gall bladder was swollen. This was remarkable because the only thing we told her about was his itching and lack of energy. Of course, she could see the jaundice for herself. She took Bob's pulses and told us that she felt that Bob's body still had the potential to cure itself. After looking under Bob's tongue, she told us she wanted to do acupuncture. She also told Bob he needed to cut out all fried foods, soda, and white bread. Finally, she prescribed his first herbal tea and said it would not taste too good, but it would do the job. She took my hand and said she would do her very best to help Bob and that perhaps his condition could reverse itself so a transplant would not be needed.

 

I am here to tell you that before our first visit to Dr. Bai, Bob was getting maybe two hours of sleep a night. But the night after the visit, he slept like a baby for the first time in months. He didn't even have to get up to go to the bathroom! And even more remarkable, he has been sleeping soundly every night since! Dr. Bai adjusts the ingredients in Bob's herbal tea with each visit. He also gets regular acupuncture treatments, which he loves!

 

Today, I am happy to report that my husband has energy through the roof, his color is back, and he has a huge appetite. His attitude and outlook on life is great now, and he is even back to work. And best of all, he no longer needs a liver transplant! We feel that through our faith, and the help of Dr. Bai, we were given a miracle. I continue to spread the word about Dr. Bai, and holistic medicine, to everyone I meet who has a medical problem.

This is the season of Thanksgiving, and today, I want to tell you how thankful I am to have met you. When I first started coming to see you, I could not breathe out of my nose. After 3 treatments, I could breathe freely for the first time in 10+ years. A side bonus to this is that I no longer snore! How wonderful it is to breathe freely and naturally.
